So I was doing laundry today, and since I'm on a tight budget nowadays, I bought the cheapo Walgreens knockoff brand of Tide, thinking, "Eh. It's just laundry. It'll just get dirty again anyway."

Oh what a mistake.

You know those Tide commercials where the lady opens up the dryer to the wonderful freshness that is Tide, and somehow she ends up in some utopia of flowers and starts dancing and stuff?

Well, the equivalent of cheapo Walgreens detergent is walking down a creepy dark alley in Brooklyn.

I kid you not.

So from now on, I'm buying the name brand for my laundry detergent. A lesson well learned.
